We are about to venture along a path that starts in Capranica Prenestina and takes us to the village of Guadagnolo. This village stands on the highest peak of the Prenestini Mountains, which reaches 1,218 metres above sea level.

The route will introduce us to a series of environments in the Prenestini Mountains. We will see pastures and a deciduous forest planted in the 1950s, but most of the walk will take place in open areas, grasslands where, at certain times of the year, you can observe the flowering of many plant species, particularly orchids (35 types have been identified in the Prenestini Mountains), and there will be no shortage of geological features typical of this area. The view will stretch from the Tyrrhenian Sea to the Simbruini Mountains. Have a good journey.
