The route starts just outside San Gregorio da Sassola, near the restaurant ‘La Locanda’, where the CAI 516 trail begins.
The trail starts on a small road but, once past the gate, it enters the woods, first near pastures and then alternating with clearings.
After returning to the road for a short stretch, you enter the woods again until you reach Forca Cerella.
Trail 516 leads to Mount San Vincenzo (1,144 m), then veers off to Monte Cerella (1,205 m above sea level).
Shortly afterwards, you arrive in the village of Guadagnolo, a hamlet of Capranica Prenestina (RM).
