A fascinating itinerary combining Roman engineering and unspoilt nature.
This circular route takes you to the heart of the Mola Valley, where the monumental remains of the Anio Vetus, Marcia, Claudia and Anio Novus aqueducts stand. Along the way, you will encounter ancient mills, bridges with multiple arches and cobbled paths that wind through shady woods and offer breathtaking views. All this is framed by the medieval village of San Gregorio da Sassola, which dominates the valley from a tuff spur.
